Grain production & Storage
Food grains form an important part of the vegetarian Indian diet. Grain production has been steadily increasing due to advancement in production technology, but improper storage results in high losses in grains.
With several problems associated with traditional modes of grain storage OSR INFRA attempts in creating modifications and offer improved grain storage structures to the farmers.
We also offers services in the area of cleaning and forwarding, drying, procurement and distribution, handling and transportation of food grains to strengthen traditional means of storage with modern inputs and to provide cheaper storage to farmers so as prevent enormous storage losses.
Agriculture is a state oriented and influenced subject since maximum investment as well as regulatory progress occurs at the state level. Till very recently, regulatory barriers like inefficient price signals, limited reach of mandis, too many intermediaries, information asymmetry, inadequate infrastructure for storage, skewed distribution of capacity , lack of cold storage infrastructure and collateral management options had constrained the development of storage and processing infrastructure in Indian agriculture sector. OSR INFRA provides solutions in overcoming the same and aims at emerging as a source of World-class storage facilities in rural areas to meet the requirements of the Government & Farmers, for storing farm products, processed farm products and other agricultural products.
